Aloha! I’m a 24 year old Irish/Korean hapa model/blogger living in NC.
1.When did you first realise you wanted to be a model?
Growing up, I was always more comfortable in front of a camera instead of performing or speaking in front of an audience. Being in front of the camera has always given me peace.
2.At what age did you first start modelling?
I began modeling in high school (around the age of 14) while working with school friends who had hobbies in photography.
3.What was your first big break and how did it arise?
I was involved with a huge hair show/convention here in NC. I was honored to help hair stylists showcase up-and-coming hair colors and styles, like updos! Since then, I’ve received more interest and inquiries for shoots.
4.What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?
Getting signed with my agency, 3BBM~ so happy to be a birdie! 🙂
5.How do you like to stay fit?
I hate cardio, but love to go for long walks and weight lift at the gym approx. 3-4 days per week. I’m also a huge advocate for staying hydrated and eating more fruits & veggies!
6.What’s your favourite food?
I am OBSESSED with the small oranges – Halos! Super delicious and healthy!
7.Any advice for people wanting to start modelling?
Always be prepared! Do your research & show up ready to slay!
8.What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
Re-igniting my love for kimchi by creating a kimchi burger (cheeseburger with kimchi on top)! If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it!
9.What’s song best describes you?
Circles by machineheart <3
10.What would you be if you weren’t a model?
Probably an interior designer! I have always loved the rush of creating personality for a room.
11.Tell me something about you not many people know?
I’m technically 7 different ethnicities! My family has a family tree/book and have shown that I am: Scottish/Irish, Chinese, Korean, Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, and Cherokee. However I identify as Irish/Korean. Who would’ve known?
12.What do you like doing in your free time?
I love to read! I’m a huge bookworm.
13.What do you think is the most interesting thing about you?
My high cheek bones!
14.What was your nickname at school?
As a kid, “Blair Witch” was very common (how creative, lol). Now, I hear “Blair Bear” or “Ash.”
15.What three things do you need to be successful in this industry?
Practice. Listen. Learn.
