Model, Dancer & YouTube presenter Gabriella Natasha kindly took the time out of her busy schedule to take part in our “Get To Know” segment. Having started modelling at 4 the beautiful Gabriella has appeared on the cover of the Angelina Ballerina and also appeared on the UK show “Take Me Out” and at only 20 years of age has racked up plenty of experience in the industry. Read on to find out more about this remarkable young lady!

1.When did you first realise you wanted to be a model?
Although I was signed to many children’s agencies as a child and started young- I didn’t actually realize that I seriously wanted to model as a career, or even that I ever could, until I was 17 (I’m 20 now).

2.At what age did you first start modelling?
Aged 4!

3.What was your first big break and how did it arise?
I remember being so excited when I booked my first magazine cover- Angelina Ballerina magazine when I was 6 or 7!! I booked it through my first local agent in Norwich where I grew up.

4.What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?
Definitely the money I’ve raised for charity, in mostly some crazy ways- the hardest would be back-flipping the Sport Relief Mile when I was 15 and did a lot of gymnastics, but I’ll never forget the feeling afterwards.

5.How do you like to stay fit?
I spent years training as a dancer as a child, and I still book jobs as a dancer now so it’s important that I train and stretch! I work with fitness company ‘TB Transformations’ who help keep me bikini body ready all year round and I go to the gym when I can, although I don’t have a set routine!

6.What’s your favourite food?
My Mum’s roast dinners, and pizza is my favourite cheat meal!

7.Any advice for people wanting to start modelling?
Start seeing yourself like a business, commit to it 100% and put in as much time and effort as you possibly can-always do your research on agents/clients and remember that success doesn’t happen overnight!

8.What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
It wasn’t funny at the time but after a massively quick change on the runway durning a swimwear show, I was wearing a bikini, went to twirl the tassels and they came completely undone meaning that I was holding them together and styling it out for the rest of the walk! The photographer actually captured the moment it happened on camera.

Also getting gunged for Teenage Cancer on camera!!

9.What’s song best describes you?
‘Shout Out to My Ex’ all the way!! I think many girls that have been through heartbreak and come out on top of it would say the same.

10.What would you be if you weren’t a model?
I eventually want to be a TV presenter, and I present on YouTube now which I love- but I definitely think I’d have gone into hair and makeup or fitness/personal training.

11.Tell me something about you not many people know?
Either that I can play Classical Guitar and completed all my advanced grades, or that I’m a trained stilt walker!

12.What do you like doing in your free time?
Spending time with my dog! I love going to the gym to clear my head, having a good pamper sesh, watching hair/makeup tutorials and experimenting with fashion!

13.What do you think is the most interesting thing about you?
The fact that I appear as a mega girly girl on the outside, but actually I love sport and doing challenges, a secret daredevil and tomboy on the inside.

14.What was your nickname at school?
I had a couple, my least favorite was ‘Gobby Gabby’ because it wasn’t really me at all! I was also part of a group where we were known around school as the ‘Tiny Trio’ for a while.

15.What three things do you need to be successful in this industry?
Determination/ a good work ethic, good physical and mental health, and self belief- if you don’t believe in yourself (or at least pretend to!!) then nobody else will.
