The Models Magazine
Hello I’m Lucy, I am 22 years old girl from Southampton and would love to become a model! I currently work in retail but I have done a few shoots here and there. I’m still waiting for that “big break” to happen shall I say... unfortunately that hasn’t happened for me yet but that doesn’t make me want to give up on my passion and stop following my dreams. I hope you get the chance to meet me and hopefully like me so I can show how much I really want this and would do whatever it takes for my dreams to become true, as they won’t work unless I do.
Since I was very young I knew I wanted to do this! It always been my passion to pretend I’m on a catwalk and do my hair and make up all glammed up with my newest, trendiest outfit and have my picture taken. I just love to take photos and hoped to develop nice shot.
I am very new to modelling, only just started getting paid work this year. Due to not having much knowledge on how to get into the industry and not knowing which companies were legit. Which meant I never knew how to get started and how to get work but that doesn't mean I’m not willing to get more so I can gain more experience in order to be the best I can be.
I’m currently in the Miss Swimsuit competition and I have made through to the finals so I can say that is probably my biggest achievement so far.
Getting into the finals of Miss Swimsuit.
I go to the gym 5 days a week and try to eat healthy as possible.
That’s a hard question as it depends what mood I’m in. If it’s a usual day where I’m eating clean the I would say chicken and roasted vegetables but if it’s my “cheat” day then it’s got to be pizza or Chinese food.
Believe in yourself no matter what others tell you, have confidences and never give up. Don’t fear failure as success is build on it.
Not sure, probably the fact I phoned my boss to order Chinese food, told her my whole order before realising I phoned the wrong number. Very embarrassing facing her the next day but we both laughed about it.
Probably Jenny from the block as it’s old school R&B and I would like to think I will always be humble no matter where life takes me.
My second choice was that I wanted to be cabin crew as I love to travel and meeting new people from all walks of life and different cultures.
I don’t think there is anything, I don’t have many secrets.
My free time I like to spend socialising with friends and family, otherwise I would be surfing the internet finding new trends, piecing together outfits and watching YouTube tutorials.
I not a 100% sure but I do hear often “I’m not like most girls my age” I like to see women as empowering and love everything involving that. Giving women the right to embrace their individuality no matter what shape, size, colour or background they are from they should have the opportunity to embrace their own beauty because diversity is what makes us beautiful. I see all women as my team mates and not my competition.
My nickname was lolly or Luce. Most people stick with Luce now though.
Well I’m still figuring that out myself, but I imagine it would be to have confidence, to have faith and to never give up.
Most probably hydrating facial wipes or mask.
